In brief
This routine builder draws on two classical systems, the Eight Pieces of Brocade (Ba Duan Jin), a set of gentle movements, and the Six Healing Sounds, each breath tuned to an organ, and matches them to your goal, whether energy, calm, sleep, digestion, breath or strength.
Frequently asked
What are the Eight Pieces of Brocade?
Ba Duan Jin is a classical set of eight gentle Qigong movements that stretch and strengthen the whole body while moving Qi. FengSpark recommends the pieces best suited to your chosen goal.
What are the Six Healing Sounds?
Six breaths, each paired with an organ: Xu for Liver, He for Heart, Hu for Spleen, Sss for Lung, Chui for Kidney and Xi for the Triple Burner, used to release excess and calm the organ.
When should I practise?
Morning suits energy and strength; evening suits calm and sleep. Consistency matters more than length, so a short daily routine outperforms an occasional long one.
